A summary of match report, with thanks
Griffith ensured they will go into the final block of their season with momentum after a big win over Narrandera on Saturday. The Swans proved a class above the struggling Eagles, running out easy winners 12.16 (88) to 3.10 (28) at Exies Oval.
Jacob Conlan continued his strong season with a five-goal haul, while Heath Northey, Isaac Campbell, Mick Duncan and Sam Daniel were others to shine in a big win. Griffith has the bye next week before they embark on the final five rounds and a final campaign. Griffith coach Will Griggs was happy enough with the way the Swans played. “It was a pretty close battle in the first half, they stuck it to us, and we were our own worst enemy at bit with the way we overused the ball,” Griggs said. “We fixed up some areas and ended up getting on top.” Isaac Bunge, Macauley Smith and Jordan Hedington were the pick of the Narrandera players.
