SWANS CLUB NOTES: Riverina Football Record July 9, 2000 - No 13.

Last Saturday was another mixed day, with our Reserves and the Under 18's having good wins. For the Firsts and the Netballers it was a day that would rather be forgotten. The Firsts kept in the game until the last quarter when Coolamon once again showed that you must play four quarters of consistent football to beat the top sides.

For the Netballers it was a big day as most of the regular A Grade side were away, meaning the B Grade girls had to back up after already being defeated in their game. Thank you to Quiprite along with Bob & Helen Tyndall for sponsoring the day.

Awards for the Firsts with Kaine 'SS' Malone racking up another Exies Dinner for Two and the Players Mug having been given the job on the 'Weed'. Phil Rowston won the Snuggle-In voucher, while Daniel Tuohey took out the Donaldson'd Mitre 10 award. David Curran won the Ron's Auto One award just nudging out Jason Vant who took home the McDonalds voucher. Shawn 'Superman' Conlan once again worked hard to win the McNabb Petrol voucher.

In Reserve Grade it was another great performance keeping their record intact. Luke 'Mr. Burns' Irons won the Griffith Exies Bottle Shop voucher as well as the Players Mug. Paul Woolnough took out the Autobarn award, while Shane Ruyg won the McDonalds voucher, Chris Conlan made his comeback to take out the Griffith Laundry Service voucher.

In the Under 18's it was Adam Boag taking out the J.D's Party Pizza, while Luke Condon won the McDonalds award, A. Hoskins took out the Video Ezy voucher. This week we make the trek to Mango in what should be a tough encounter. Thank you to Ernie Wade and Les Wilesmith for sponsoring today's game. Good luck to all grades. Let's come home with the points.
